We stumbled upon Epic! about 4 months ago. It is an eBook subscription service available on both Apple and Android (I believe you can also read on the website). It has thousands of titles to choose from for kids under 12. I started with a free trial for my kids. You set up the profile with your child’s age and interests, then Epic! offers recommendations based on the criteria. My 5 and 6.5 year old LOVE books, but are early readers (and early reader is stretching it for my youngest). She was pretty excited about the number of “Read to Me” books. These books are read aloud while your child follows along. My son has been really into the non-fiction books about volcanos, snakes and sharks! In addition to a number popular books, there is also some content from Highlights, Sid the Science Kid, & the Magic School Bus. There are also audio books and Spanish-language content.
